David Gerard Kuchman, 68, of Hattiesburg passed away on January 11, 2024, at his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg at 1:30 P.M. with visitation from 12:30 until service.

David had a passion for sports, particularly football and golf. He played football in high school and was a valued member of the golf team in both high school and college. Golf remained a lifelong love for David, and he passed on his enthusiasm for the sport to his children at an early age. Growing up in Florida, he also had a deep love for the water and enjoyed swimming at home. David had a friendly and approachable nature, always striking up conversations with his neighbors, customers, or anyone he met.

In his career, David achieved success in various fields. He began as an Assistant Golf Pro at Oceanside Golf Club in Ormond Beach, FL. Later, he became the Territory Manager of Mississippi with Link 2 Sales, where he earned numerous accolades for being the top representative in the country for various accounts.

Outside of work, David enjoyed indulging in his hobbies, including golf, swimming, gardening, cooking, going to the movies, and watching Alabama football. These activities brought him joy and relaxation throughout his life.

David will be remembered for his active nature, love for sports, and his ability to connect with others. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a passion for life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerard Leonard and Daisy Infantino Kuchman.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Strickland Kuchman of Hattiesburg; his four children, Natalie Margaret Kuchman Berg (Thomas) of Pearl, Daniel Reed Kuchman of Las Vegas, Amy Christine Kuchman Flanders of Townsend, GA, and Michael David Haines (Kristin) of Hinesville, GA; two sisters, Linda Cofelice of Ormond Beach, FL and Karen Cox (Thomas) of Ormond Beach, FL; and his grandson, Christian Alan Flanders of Littleton, NH.
