DREAM Summer Drive Seeks Food, Toiletries for Kids

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The DREAM Community Champions Summer program is collecting food, toiletries, and daily essentials—including socks, sack lunch items, and deodorant—as part of a summer donation drive in partnership with the Vicksburg Police and Fire Departments.
“Most of the feeding programs in Vicksburg end around late June or early July, and we must ensure that our kids are fed until school starts,” said Alderman Mayfield in a statement. “The DREAM Community Champions Summer program has partnered with VPD and VFD to deliver lunches and toiletries to our school-aged children this summer from July 11 to August 1, and we could use your help with donations and volunteering! Please contact me if you would like to become a partner.”
