Flashes defeated Cathedral on Senior Night

Laken Bradley and Anthony McCloud

Vicksburg, Miss.-St. Aloysius boys’ basketball team celebrated senior night in style as they defeated Cathedral 56-43. Seniors Anthony McCloud and Laken Bradley both contributed to the team’s win as they were recognized alongside manager Peyton Rainer.

Rainer

Anthony McCloud came away with 20 points while Carson Gleese finished with 18 on the board. Carter Henderson scored eight points and Carson Henderson put up six points. Laken Bradley had 4 points, 8

rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals while Sadler Lambiotte grabbed seven assists and five steals.

Girls:

St Al 23

Cathedral 56

Taryn Lusby led St. Al with 11 points in the loss. Annslee Averett finished the game with 5 points and 4 rebounds while Olivia Larsen also brought in 5 points. Mallory Hobson came away with 2 points and 5 rebounds. 

Jr High Boys:

St Al 40

Cathedral 32

Dru Gleese led the junior high team with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Evan Mallard helped contribute to the win with his 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. 

Grant Gattle put up 6 points and 6 rebounds while Patrick Southerland also brought in 6 points and 6 rebounds.

John Hossley had 2 points, 4 rebounds, and  4 assists while Will Whittington came in clutch with his 2 points. Reeves Sadler finished the night with 1 point and 5 rebounds.

Jr. High Girls:

Presley Carr 10 points

Kennadi Blassingame 8 points

Analeigh Herring 2 points

Kelci Bingham 2 points 

Elle Larson 2 points.

The Flashes will host Adams County Christian School on Friday.
