Missy Gators shutout North Pike on Senior Night

Vicksburg, Miss.-The Vicksburg High School girls’ soccer team celebrated senior night with success as they shut out North Pike 7-0. The boys took a 2-1 loss in a good performance that came down to the last minute.
Amari Johnson was the star of the show as she came away with four goals in the win and Midori Allen finished the night with two goals. Kennedy Mullins also scored one while Ava Pritchard grabbed four saves.
Katie Barton, Midori Allen, Alysha Murrell, Trinity McGloster, Kennedy Mullins, Lilli Kistler, Ava Pritchard, and Sarah Beth Holloway were all the seniors who were recognized after the game.
In the boys’ game, Cameron Nailor scored the Gators’ lone goal while Xavier Williams grabbed 11 saves and Johnathan Qualls had five.
Seven West, Jonathan Qualls, Cameron Nailor, Jarell Noye, Gideon Thompson, Jacolby Harris, Brandon, and Xavier Williams were the seniors who were recognized.

The Gators will travel to face Columbus on Monday.
