Vicksburg’s DeCorey Knight Jr Commits to Holmes CC

Vicksburg, Miss.-Vicksburg High School star football player DeCorey Knight Jr. has now committed to Holmes Community College. Knight verbally announced his decision on Friday over social media. 

In the 2024 season, Knight became Vicksburg High School’s All-Time lead rusher as he wrapped up his career with a total of 3,028 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns. He led the Gators with 1,169 rushing yards in his final year under Head Coach Christopher Lacey.

The Vicksburg Daily News will catch up with Knight at his initial signing day ceremony in February along with a few other Vicksburg High School football players who will be signing scholarships.
