Flashes improved to 2-1 after Tuesday night’s win

Vicksburg, Ms-The St. Aloysius boys’ basketball team improved to 2-1 on the year after crushing the Mississippi School for the Deaf 64-19 on Tuesday.

By halftime, the Flashes had a huge 45-12 lead. Carson Gleese knocked down a couple of early 3-pointers in the win while Anthony McCloud dominated inside the paint. Tre Lee hit a 3-pointer shortly before halftime while Carter and Carson Henderson both came away with clutch shots.

In the second half, McCloud hit two 3-pointers and Carter Henderson added seven points in the third quarter.

McCloud finished with 21 points and seven rebounds while Gleese contributed 16 points. Carter Henderson added 13 points and 10 rebounds while Carson Henderson scored six points and brought in seven assists. Lee grabbed five steals to go with his three points and Lanier Lambiotte had three points while Reeves Sadler scored two points.

The Flashes will host Delta Streets on Thursday.
