Flashes took a 29-14 loss to East Rankin Academy

After a hard-fought battle against East Rankin Academy, St. Aloysius fell short 29-14 on Friday.

By halftime, the Flashes had a 14-6 lead after Carson Smith scored on a 64-yard run and Thompson Fortenberry ran in a 3-yard score. The second half went to East Rankin as a high snap forced a safety by St. Al. A few rushing touchdowns late in the game gave ER the win.

Fortenberry had 83 yards rushing in the loss.

The Flashes will host TriCounty on Friday.
