Four PCA football players selected to play in the MAIS All-Star Game

Vicksburg, Miss.-Four Porter’s Chapel Academy football players have been selected to play in the MAIS All-Star Game. Jase Jung, Hunter Simms, Henry Slayton, and Conley Johnston will all represent the Eagles in the prestigious game.

PCA went 7-5 in 2024 under Head Coach Blake Purvis. Simms led the defense with 81 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception. Johnston grabbed 80 tackles and seven sacks while Slayton brought in seven sacks and 71 tackles.

Jung was instrumental on both sides of the ball as he rushed for an astonishing 3,712 yards and 48 touchdowns. He also threw for five touchdowns and snatched six interceptions and 70 tackles.

The All-Star Game will be held on Thursday at Madison-Ridgeland Academy at 4 p.m.
