Geraldine “Cookie” Harris, 1963-2023

She was preceded in death by her mother, Goldie James; father, Willie Odom, Jr.; maternal grandparents, D.C. James and Carrie T. James; and her paternal grandparents, Willie Odom, Sr., and Olivia Odom; and two brothers, William “PeeWee” James and Larry Odom, Sr.
She is survived by: one son, Shcobey Harris and three daughters, Shawanda Harris, Marquita Harris, and Shcandy Harris and two step-children Jessie Harris and Aaliyah Harris all of Vicksburg, MS; four sisters, Georgia Morrow of Vicksburg, MS, Gracie Holmes of Detroit, MI, Louise James Howard of South eld MI, and Trena Henderson of Greenville, NC; two brothers, James D. Smith of Vicksburg, MS, and Edward Odom of Hart eld, CT; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her companion of over 30 years, Leo Williams; two special friends, Ida Williams and Andrea Royal; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Geraldine Harris on October 14, 2023, 2:00 PM at Holly Grove M. B. Church, 746 Johnson St, Vicksburg, MS .
Visitation will be held at C J Williams Mortuary Services, 4310 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS on October 13, 2023 from 1:00 – 6:00 PM with family present from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.
Geraldine ‘Cookie” Harris transitioned on September 25, 2023 at the age of 60.
