Gleese led St. Aloysius over Riverfield

Vicksburg, Miss.-Dru Gleese led the St. Aloysius Junior High School boys’ basketball team(7th,8th,9th grade) to a 32-17 win over Riverfield Academy on Thursday. Gleese scored 14 points and grabbed four rebounds in the win.

Adam Dorbeck scored seven points and snatched six rebounds while Brantley Yelverton added four points on the board. Patrick Southerland(6 rebounds), Owen Mallard, and John Hossley all scored two points while Reeves Sadler hit a free throw and got six steals. Evan Mallard led the team in rebounds with 10.

Girls:

The Lady Flashes took a 29-25 loss. Kelci Bingham scored 12 points and Kennadi Blassingame added eight. Presley Carr and Reese Lyons both scored two points and Elle Larson hit a free throw.

The Flashes will play Benton Academy on Friday.
