Grenada County murder suspect has been arrested

Press Release from the Grenada County Sheriff’s Office:

Murder suspect Stanley Trent Latham is in custody. We appreciate the officers of Grenada PD for their actions in this arrest.

On Friday, March 15, 2024 at approximately 11:15 pm Grenada County Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Grant Road, in reference to a female possibly being shot and not breathing. Upon the first deputy’s arrival, it was discovered that the victim,Talicia Latham, appeared to be deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. This incident is being treated as a homicide at this time, and an autopsy is being performed at the Mississippi Crime Lab.

Through investigations and through initial evidence, a Murder Warrant was issued on Stanley Trent Latham.
