Honoring Billy Hall Sr

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Billy Hall, Sr. who departed this life Monday, June 1, 2026, in Decatur, GA at the age of 77. 

Hall was born on September 1, 1948, to the late Percy Hall and the late Fannie Louise Cameron Hall.

He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He attended Vicksburg Public Schools and was a retired employee from Billy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy Hall and Fannie Louise Hall; three brothers, Charles C. Bingham, Major Z. (George) Cameron and Robert Hall; two sisters, Joyce Pack and Louise Hall and one son, Billy Hall, Jr.

He is survived by his nine children:  Sheeneka Covington, Timothy Hall, Tiffany (Kim) Windom, Dawn Burns, and Michael Terrell Smith all of Vicksburg, MS; Gwendolyn Lee of Madison, AL; Marvin Burns of Irving, TX; Darnell White of Belle Chasse, LA and Danielle White of Baton Rouge, LA; eight grandchildren, siblings Jean Robinson of Waldorf, MD; Elmonia Grant of Columbus, SC; Yvonne Cameron of Hampton, GA; Bobbie Williams of Norfolk, VA; Michael Hall of Savannah, GA; Jackie (Samuel) Stewart of Forney, TX and Edward Brown of Tyler, TX; a special friend Armonica Gordon and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will honor their loved one’s wishes through a private remembrance.
