Jack Curtis Sanders 1943-2024

Jack Curtis Sanders passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the age of 80.

Jack was born on June 29th, 1943, in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He grew up in Redwood, MS with his 9 brothers and sisters.

He met the love of his life, Sarah Grace Warnock and married on December 19th, 1963, at the ages of 20 and 17.

Jack loved people; some would say he was the life of the party. He enjoyed the company of his friends and family and enjoyed hobbies such as riding motorcycles (he owned many over the years), dancing and spending time with his family and friends. His love for his wife, children and grandchildren came second to none.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Grace Sanders; mother Ruby Hall; Father James C. Sanders; sisters Debra, Mary Nell, Patsy and Nancy; brothers Emmett, Donnie, and Billy.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Selena Sanders; son Keith Pickering; 2 granddaughters Victorya Amborn (Andy) and Madison Grace Hull; his sisters JoAnn Harris and Betty Jean Rodrigue; and 2 great grandchildren Madalynn Reese and John Ledger. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22 at 11:00 am at Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 am.
