Jackson pedestrian killed in crash Tuesday night

A pedestrian was killed in a traffic accident on Tuesday evening, officials said.

Jackson Police are investigating the vehicular incident that occurred on Terry Road near Stokes Robinson Road. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and died at the scene, according to JPD spokesman Sam Brown.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. No other information is available at this time.
