Murals in action set for Sunday

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the Murals in Action event Sunday, May 3. 

The event will feature the murals in downtown Vicksburg and actors will bring to life and portray six of the events that helped shape Vicksburg with music and skits. 

Every fifteen minutes the tour will begin and it will take about an hour to see everything. New to this year’s event is a donation competition. Donation jars will be available for each mural. The mural that collects the most donations will be the winner.

The event will take place from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Admission is $5. Children under 12 are free.
