Jackson Police Department seek suspect in Thursday homicide

A man is dead after a shooting in West Jackson, according to Jackson Police Department.

A release from JPD on Thursdy says that a call came in Thursday around 3:20 p.m. that someone had been shot. When police got there, they found Willie Earl Ford, Jr., fatally shot multiple times.

So far there has been no description released on a suspect, who is still at large. JPD says the investigation is ongoing and no further information is available.
