JT McDaniel commits to Hinds Community College

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — JT McDaniel, a standout athlete at Tallulah Academy, has committed to continue his baseball career at Hinds Community College.

McDaniel announced his decision on social media Saturday.

“I’m blessed to announce my commitment to Hinds Community College, and I’m excited to start this new chapter in my life,” the post read. “I’m grateful for the support from my family and friends who have helped me along the way.”

McDaniel starred in both football and baseball at Tallulah Academy under head coach Ryan Williams. He helped lead the football team to the state championship game in 2025 and guided the baseball team to the postseason in 2026.

An official signing day for McDaniel has not yet been announced.
