Kathryn “KayKay” Elizabeth Carraway Walker

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Kathryn “KayKay” Elizabeth Carraway Walker, age 55, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 1, 2026. She is now smiling, full of joy, and rejoicing in the presence of Jesus and her beloved son, Landon.

KayKay was known to all as a fiercely loyal and loving friend. She had an incredibly kind heart, which was especially evident in her deep love for all of her animals.

She is survived by her devoted sister, Christi Carraway (Brister) Wooley, numerous nieces and nephews. KayKay was preceded in death by her cherished son, Landon Walker; her brother, Jimmy Carraway (and surviving wife, Sandy); her father, Jimmy Zack Carraway; and her mother, Elise Mae Carraway.

A memorial service celebrating KayKay’s life will be held at Utica Christian Church on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Brad Hartzog officiating.

The family is deeply grateful to the congregation of Utica Christian Church, her many friends in the Utica community for their overwhelming love and support during this time.
