Mississippi woman killed in a four-wheeler accident

A Mississippi woman was killed over the weekend in a four-wheeler accident in Aberdeen.

21-year-old Anihya Nesbitt was identified by the Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley. The accident occurred on Saturday around 10:30 p.m. after Nesbitt lost control of the ATV during a trail ride on Egypt Road just shortly before dying at a hospital in Aberdeen. A second victim went to a hospital in West Point.

The crash is being investigated by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.
