Multiple VHS and WC Football Players Made the All-District Team

Vicksburg, Miss. – Multiple Vicksburg and Warren Central High School football players made the All-District Team. A few athletes on both teams also received individual awards as well as WC’s coaches who won the District Coaching Staff of the Year.

For VHS, DeCorey Knight Jr. won the Athlete of the Year Award. In 2024, Knight finished his varsity career with 3,028 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns as he became VHS’ all-time lead rusher.

District MVP went to WC’s Larry Reynolds Jr who had nearly 100 tackles and broke the school single-season sack record(13) and the career sack record at WC with 19.

Defensive MVP Award was granted to TK Qualls and Ronnie Blossom. Qualls had nearly 100 tackles as well along with 8 sacks on the year while Blossom(over 100 tackles) came away with 10 sacks as well.

Jonah Artman won the Special Teams Player of the Year. Artman is the No. 1 ranked kicker in the 2026 class. He knocked down over 50 extra points in 2024 and became WC’s career field goals leader. 

Maddox Lynch won the Most Outstanding Tight End Award. He now has over 100 career receptions which is the most in WC’s history. 

Nash Morgan was named Most Outstanding quarterback as he finished the year with 1,372 passing yards and nine touchdowns. 

Gavin Davenport received the Most Outstanding Linebacker Award. He grabbed 70 tackles on the year along with four sacks.
