Nettles accepts a coaching position at Germantown High School

Bubba Nettles has accepted a new coaching position at Germantown High School as an assistant coach. Nettles made the announcement on Wednesday where he stated that he would be working with the middle school and high school.

The rumors are true. The Nettles family is moving to Madison,” the post read. “I have been blessed to accept a job to teach at Germantown Middle School and accepted coaching duties with both the Jr. High football team and Germantown High School varsity football team.”

Nettles recently spent the last three years as the St. Aloysius Head Football Coach, and before that, he spent one year as an assistant with the Flashes. He also spent nearly a decade coaching at Vicksburg High School where he made a true name for himself as the Head Powerlifting Coach and a lineman’s coach.

Nettles also mentioned that his wife, Katie, accepted a job at East Flora Elementary. Bubba and Katie have two children, Lee and Lydia.
