New Rental Rates for Ardis T. Williams Auditorium and City Pavilion, Announces Mayor Flaggs

Vicksburg, MS – Mayor Flaggs is announcing a proposed update to the rental rates for both the
Ardis T. Williams Auditorium and the City Pavilion. Due to increasing operational and maintenance costs, the difficult decision was made to adjust the rental fees. This change is essential to maintain high-quality service and the upkeep of these key community venues.

Starting October 1, 2024, the rental rates will be as follows:

• City Pavilion: The rental fee will be $200, with an additional $100 deposit required.
  Insurance coverage of $50 or more will also be needed.
• Ardis T. Williams Auditorium: Rental fees for the auditorium will vary depending on the
  specifics of the event. For detailed information on the rates, please refer to the attached
  rental form.

The Mayor will recommend these changes to Alderman Mayfield, Alderman Monsour, and Doug Whittington, Director of Accounting. These adjustments are aimed at covering current costs, while
continuing to support a wide range of events and maintaining the excellence of both facilities.
