No school for two Vicksburg schools

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Students of Vicksburg Intermediate and Dana Road Elementary will not report to school tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 15, due to a water line break.

Vicksburg-Warren School District released a statement to parents Tuesday evening stating the schools would be closed for the following day. According to the report, district and city crews are actively working to assess and repair the water issues. VWSD will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.

Families, students and staff are encouraged to continue to monitor official district communication channels for the latest updates regarding school operations.
