Parent Engagement Meeting on special education this evening

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Vicksburg Warren School District’s Special Education Department will host a Parent Engagement Meeting this evening, March 6, to provide families with resources and strategies to support their children’s education.

The Parent Engagement meeting will take place at Bruce Lab, 755 MS 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. Topics will include strategies for supporting students, information on special education transitions, and available resources for families. A Q&A session with experts will also be held.

The event offers an opportunity for parents to connect, gain valuable insights, and prepare for their child’s educational journey. Light refreshments will be provided.
