Playoffs Spot Clinched for the Lady Flashes After Last Night’s Win

VICKSBURG, MSSt. Aloysius High School girls’ soccer team reached a major goal by making the playoffs after defeating Copiah Academy 6-1 on Wednesday night.

Anna Kate McKnight scored the first two goals as they took the 2-1 lead in the first half. The Lady Flashes came out in the second half as Megan Theriot, Mary Ruth Montgomery, Frances, and Audrey Grace Newman all scored to put the game out of reach. 

Earlier this year, St. Al shut out Copiah Academy in a resounding 8-0 win. the Lady Flashes will travel to face Brookhaven Academy for the first round of playoffs on Tuesday, October 8, at 6:30 p.m.
