Raymond High School won the Gulfport Christmas Classic Championship

Raymond High School boy’s basketball team are now the Gulfport Christmas Classic Champions after defeating Windermere Prep 45-40 on Friday night.

“I’m so proud of our guys for winning three consecutive games over a three day stretch against three very talented teams,” RHS Head Coach Tony Tadlock said. This was the toughest tournament in the state and we are glad to bring the championship trophy back to Raymond.”

EJ Paymon, Keymarius Lewis and
Willie Myles all scored 11 points each in the win while Mekhi Strong added eight.

The Rangers went undefeated in Gulfport Classic Tournament where they knocked off Princeton Ohio, Olive Branch, Ms and
Windemere Prep, Fla. They are now 16-3 on the season and will face Wingfield on the road on Tuesday.
