Roy Edwin Thomas: 1958-2025

VICKSBURG, Miss. — Roy Edwin Thomas passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025. He was 66 years old. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 22, 1958, to Gene Thomas, Sr. and Joan Webb Thomas. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, and being at the lake house on Lake Bruin spending time on his boat. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them to hunt and fish. He enjoyed watching the Saints and was a lifelong L.A. Dodgers fan. He worked at Ergon for 43 years as a plant manager. He was a hard worker.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gene Thomas, Sr. and Joan Webb Thomas; brother, John Thomas; sister, LaVonne Prince.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Karen Thomas; son, Cody Thomas (Emma); daughters, Christy Crosby and Lacie Hogue (Lee); brother, Gene Thomas, Jr.; sister, Angel Frauenthal (Ken); grandchildren, Donna Crosby, Jesse Crosby, Ryder Hogue, Harper Hogue and Archer Thomas. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home.
