Samuel Ross is a State Championship Powerlifter

VICKSBURG, Miss.—Samuel Ross is now a state championship powerlifter. The Warren Central High School athlete earned the prestigious title over the weekend at the state meet in Jackson.

According to a Facebook post, Ross lifted in the 220-pound weight class. When it came to deadlift, squat, and bench press, Ross lifted a total amount of 1,430 pounds. 

Ross is coached by Kacey Myers, and VDN will catch up with him on his recent accomplishments.
