Severe Weather Likely Tomorrow; Tornado Threat Possible

VICKSBURG, Miss. — John Elfer with Warren County Emergency Management is advising that severe weather is likely in our area tomorrow, stating that tornadoes cannot could be ruled out.
“We should see partly sunny conditions today and cloudy conditions overnight with wind gusts around 30mph. We are monitoring the possibility for storms Tuesday into Wednesday,” said Elfer. “Some of these storms could be severe and tornadoes cannot be ruled out, now is the time to begin making sure that your alert systems and shelter plans are in place and working.”
The National Weather Service in Jackson forecast warns that severe weather is likely for the Vicksburg/Warren County area. These storms could produce tornadoes, some possible strong winds up to 70 mph, and hail up to a quarter size are possible.
