Shots fired on Elizabeth Circle

Gunshots were exchanged between two parties in an open area behind Elizabeth Circle on Sunday afternoon.

In a press release, the Vicksburg Police Department reported that on Sunday afternoon at 5:09 p.m. officers responded to the Elizabeth Circle area for a report of shots fired. At the scene witnesses reported seeing three black males shooting at another black male in an open area behind the houses.

All the suspects had fled the area before police arrived.
