Two Robbed of Tamales on Washington Street

Two men were robbed yesterday afternoon in front of Solly’s Hot Tamales on Washington Street.

According to Deputy Chief Mike Bryant, at around noon on Tuesday two men purchases some tamales from Solly’s. When they exited the building they were approached by two young black males who robbed them of their tamales and about $10 in cash.

No one was injured in the event and Solly’s replaced the stolen tamales, at their expense, for the two men.
