VHS ninth grade boys’ basketball team won 55-37 on Thursday

Vicksburg High School ninth grade boys’ basketball team picked up a 55-37 win on Thursday against Clinton.

The Gators went up 22-17 at halftime after Jordan Clay, Nick Carson and Marlyn Foy knocked down 3-pointers. Carson hit another 3-pointer in the third quarter while Wallace Curry stepped up in the fourth quarter and scored nine points.

Carson ended the night with 13 points and Clay added 10 while Marlyn Foy scored 11. Curry put up nine and Brycen Jones scored three along with B. Banks who contributed two.

VHS will host Madison on Monday.
