Vicksburg Junior High Releases 2025 football schedule

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg Junior High School has announced its 2025 football schedule, with veteran head coach Larry Carter Jr. returning to lead the team. Carter guided the Gators to a 4-2 record last season and is aiming to build on that success this fall.

The Gators will open the season on the road against Pearl on Aug. 26. Their home opener is scheduled for Sept. 2 against Germantown at 6 p.m.

Other key matchups include a Sept. 9 road game at Clinton and home contests against Brandon (Sept. 16), Madison (Sept. 23), and crosstown rival Warren Central Junior High on Sept. 30 for Homecoming. All home games are set for 6 p.m. kickoffs.
