VJHS basketball crushes Old Towne 62-27

The Vicksburg Junior High School boys’ basketball team remains on their hot streak after beating Old Towne 62-27.

Jaquez Jones couldn’t be stopped as he led the Gators with 18 points in the win. Corbin Walker also scored in double digits by adding 12 on the board while Deonta Selvy Jr. added eight points. Jaylen Stewart scored seven points and Jordan Cruthirds knocked down a long 3-pointer. H. Fisher also hit a 3-pointer and L. Davis ended with two points.

The Gators are now 12-0 under Head Coach Jerdon Hardiman and they will play again after the Christmas break.
