Warren Central crushed Callaway 27-0

The Lady Vikes totaled 17 hits and exploded for 13 runs in the opening inning. MK Ferguson highlighted the frame with a three-run home run, while Mary Clell Allred, KK Williamson, Anzley Keen and Emily Muirhead each delivered doubles.

Warren Central added nine more runs in the second inning. Allred recorded two doubles in the game, while McKay and Allred each added doubles in the inning. Muirhead also contributed a two-run triple.

In the third and final inning, McKay capped the scoring with a grand slam. Laney Bennett added an RBI during the frame.

KeKe McKay

McKay led Warren Central at the plate with three hits and five RBIs. Allred and Williamson each finished with two doubles and three RBIs. Muirhead went 2 for 2 with four RBIs, while Keen was 2 for 2 with two RBIs. Maddy Pant (one RBI) and Ferguson (three RBIs) both went 2 for 3. Joli Blackard and Mullen (one RBI) each recorded one hit.

In the circle, Warren Central used three pitchers. Pant and Raegan Dean each struck out three batters, while Muirhead struck out two. All three pitchers combined to allow no hits.

The Lady Vikes will travel across town to face Vicksburg High on Thursday.
