Warren Central sets Sept. 16 tryouts for girls’ powerlifting team

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Warren Central High School will host tryouts for its girls’ powerlifting team on Sept. 16 at 4:30 p.m. in the girls’ field house, located on the back side of the school.

The tryouts are open to students in grades 7 through 12. Participants must have a completed physical uploaded in DragonFly, with no exceptions, and are required to register through Google Classroom by filling out the provided form ahead of time so accommodations can be made.

Athletes should bring athletic clothes, tennis shoes and bottled water. For more information, students may contact coach Destinee King at destinee.king@vwsd.org.
