Warren Central soccer team shutdown Morton 6-0

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Warren Central High School boys’ soccer team opened the 2024 season with a 6-0 shutout victory over Morton on Tuesday.

By halftime, the Vikings were up 2-0 after scoring two goals late in the first half.

Jacob Porter had an outstanding performance, scoring four goals for the Vikings. Both Luke Bond and Duke Esparza added one goal each in the 6-0 shutout. Duke Esparza, Charlie Esparza, Daniel Westcott, and Ebrahim Shuaibi all had assists. In the goalie box, Jamarian Shelley had 2 saves and Ace Orosco grabbed 1 save in the victory over Morton High School.

The Warren Central Vikings boy’s soccer team will host Germantown on Tuesday.
