WC Freshmen Boys’ Basketball Team Crushed Ridgeland 67-35

Warren Central High School’s ninth-grade boys’ basketball team crushed Ridgeland 67-35 on Monday night.

The Vikings went up 34-19 at halftime after Trystan Fuller, Jordan Pugh, and Landen Burks all knocked down 3-pointers in the first half. Jamal Washington had a big second half along with Pugh and Simon Lenzinger.

Washington led with 14 points and Burks put up 11 while Pugh added 10. Mataveon Sims and Jaylen DeFrance both scored eight points and Fuller contributed seven. Lenzinger added five points while Deandre Flowers and Tyreek Wheeler ended the night with two points each.

WC will host Pearl on Thursday.
