Warren Central’s Big Blue won 3 Best in Class last Weekend

VICKSBURG, MS – The Warren Central High School’s Big Blue Band: Pride of the Delta Land competed in the Titan Marching Band Invitational at Ridgeland High School this past weekend. Big Blue received several awards, including: Best in Class Music, Best in Class General Effect, Best in Class Percussion, 1st Place in Division, 4th Place Overall in Competition. 

Warren Central’s Big Blue will travel to Scooba this weekend where they have been invited to compete in the Southeast Regional Marching Championship at East Mississippi Community College.

The Big Blue is under the direction of Dr. Jace McMullin, WC Head Band Instructor. This year’s show is titled: Paint it Black.

Don Hill is the Vicksburg Daily News Editor. He first joined the Vicksburg Daily News team in January 2021 as a contributor and graphic designer: writing stories, building ads, adding voice-overs has.
