Warren County woman says she was cornered by two coyotes
Update-8:55 p.m. – A person who responded to the scene, a former LEO, states they saw dogs and not coyotes.
A Warren County woman was surrounded by two coyotes on Scott Road Thursday night.
Shortly after sunset, the woman placed a harrowing call to 911 asking for them to send help. She had taken her puppy for a walk on Scott Road near Mt Alban when she noticed the two coyotes following her.
The unidentified woman stayed on the line with the 911 operator updating the operator on the situation. The 911 dispatcher then radioed that information to deputies racing to the scene.
At one point the woman said the coyotes had her cornered. The next report from 911 was the woman saying the coyotes were charging her and then the line went silent.
After about two minutes the woman reconnected with 911 reporting the coyotes were closing in. Seconds after that WC-35, Chreka Clark, radioed in that she was on scene with the woman.
There are no known injuries reported in the incident to the woman, the puppy or the coyotes.
