WC finished the regular season with a 41-6 win over Columbus

Warren Central High School football team finished the regular season with a 41-6 win over Columbus.
Columbus drove the ball down the field until Garrett Orgas-Fisher came up with an interception.
Quarterback Nash Morgan hit Maddox Lynch for a gain of over 20 yards which was followed by a 15-yard touchdown run from Teryn Green. The extra point by Jonah Artman was good as WC went up 7-0.
The Falcons would respond with a 30 yard touchdown pass. A no good extra point kept WC ahead 7-6.
On the Vikings next possession, Aden Greer broke out on runs that went for 23 and 25 yards after a kick out block from Jadarius Miller. Eric Collins Jr. scored from seven yards out to go up 14-6.
After forcing a punt, Zack Evans would help advance the Vikings’ lead as he returned a 55-yard punt for a score.
Green grabbed a nice pass thrown by Ryan Nelson and he also picked up some positive rushing yards just before Collins scored his second touchdown.
Roosevelt Harris Jr. caught an interception just shortly before halftime as WC had a 27-6 lead.
Coming out of halftime, Nash Morgan connected with Evans for a 35-yard touchdown.
The Vikings would force the Falcons to punt after a sack by Landon Green. Evans took that opportunity to return another punt for a 52-yard touchdown.
A running clock was set from that point on as WC kept their 41-6 lead to finish the season with an 8-2 record and undefeated in district play.
WC will host Saltillo in a playoff game next Friday.
