WC knocked off Saltillo to force a game three

Warren Central High School baseball team forced a game three after knocking off Saltillo 9-2 on Saturday.
The Vikings went up 2-0 in the first inning after a single from Maddox Lynch and a run from an error. In the second, WC took a 6-0 lead when Conner Watkins smashed an RBI while Lynch hit a 3-run RBI.
By the time the fifth inning rolled around, Cade Fairley hit a home run, and Ryan Nelson nailed a two-run double in the sixth to put WC up 9-1. The Vikings would only allow one more run in the final inning as they secured the 9-2 win.
Brooks Willoughby pitched the game where he struck out seven batters and only allowed one hit. Ryan Steed struck out one batter in the win.
Lynch finished the night with two hits and four RBIs, while Nelson had two hits and two RBIs. Fairley(1 RBI), Hayes Loper, and Cole Autrey all had one hit.
Game three will be held on Monday at 7 p.m.
