Warren Central High School’s softball team forced a game three after knocking off Grenada 11-3 on Saturday.

The Lady Vikes earned their first run from a walk but picked up four more in the second once Kamryn Morson(2 runs) and Sarah Cameron Fancher both singled to go with a walk while Maddy Pant was hit by a pitch.

Grenada didn’t get on the board until the fifth when they earned a run from a sacrifice and an error. WC picked those two runs back up in the sixth when Morson and McKay both hit RBIs.

The bats got hot for WC in the final inning where Jenn Smith, Pant, Morson, and Adalyn Anderson racked up hits to put the Lady Vikes up 11-2. Grenada got one run in the seventh but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Lady Vikes.

Fancher(1 RBI) and Morson both finished with three hits. Pant(2 RBIs) went 2 for 4 while Smith(1 RBI), Jackson, McKay(2 RBIs), Tyra Bridges and MK Ferguson all had one hit. Pant struck out eight batters.

WC will host Grenada on Monday to determine who moves to the next round.
