Warren Central High School forced a game three after a 2-0 shutout against South Panola on Saturday.

Pitcher Maddy Pant returned from an injury just in time to lead her team to victory as she struck out eight batters in the win.

After singles from Maddy Pant and Adalyn Anderson, Tyra Bridges got the Lady Vikes on the board first after hitting an RBI where Whitley Parks earned the run. Freshman KeKe McKay drove in the second run from a steal to put WC up 2-0 in the second inning.

Pant and Anderson came up both finished with one hit each while Maddy handled things on the rubber.

Game three will be held at South Panola on Monday at 5 p.m.
