VICKSBURG, Miss.—The Warren Central High School tennis team are now the district champions after defeating Vicksburg High School 6-1. Tuesday night’s victory made everything official for the Vikings as they improved to 12-5 on the year and 5-0 in district play.

Ivan Ozhereley shutout Sam Baker in the boys singles with scores of 6-0 and 6-0. Sam Harris and Gray Lampkin also pulled off two 6-0 shutout wins over Chaez Moore and Gideon Thompson in the boys doubles. In the boys’ doubles 2, Luke Bond and Brady Taylor shutout Kaleb Bailey and Arthur Davis(6-0,6-0).

Sydney Sullivan and Lilli Feibelman took down Midori Allen and Alysha(6-1, 6-1) while Ellie Tennison and Amelia King cruised passed Madison Bailey and Grace Tyler(6-3, 6-2) in the girls doubles 2. Charles Harris and Laura Bailey came out victorious in the mixed doubles as they shutout(6-0, 6-0) Derrick Devonte and Arzariel Lockett.

Kennedy Mullins earned the Missy Gators’ solo win in the girls singles against Avery Hern 6-1 and 6-0.
