WC Tennis Team Defeated St. Andrews 4-3

Vicksburg, Miss.-Warren Central High School tennis team finished Thursday night with a 4-3 win over St. Andrews. 

WC’s Brayden Lugo(0-6,0-6) and Marlee Solomon(0-6,1-6) took a loss in the boys and girls’ singles. Brady Taylor and Sam Harris won in the boys doubles 1(6-1, 6-6, 7-5, 10-4) over Jonny Hua and Armav Patel.

Gray Lampkin and Seth Lugo were successful in the boy’s doubles 2 as they came out on top(6-1,3-1,12-10) as well as Ellie Tennison and Avery Hern won the girls’ doubles 1(7-5,6-3). Samantha Bailey and Marissa Rudd fell short in the girl’s doubles 2.

Charles Harris and Lili Feibelman capped things off with a win in the mixed doubles(6-1, 6-1) over Mila Graham and Pranav Reddy. 

The Vikings will host Brookhaven on Tuesday at the Halls Ferry Park at 3:30.
