VSA Shined at the Makos Frosty Fins invitational

Flowood, Miss.-The Vicksburg Swim Association traveled to Flowood to compete in the 2025 Makos Frosty Fins invitational. 

Highlights:

17 VSA swimmers competed

44 Personal best swims

8 First place swims

19 swims placed third or higher

2 A Standard cuts, 1 AA standard cut

1 new VSA team record was set by Addison Billings in the Girls 11-12 1000YD Freestyle. 

1st Place swims – 
Addison Billings (Girls 12&U 100YD Free, 50YD Free, 50YD Back, 50YD Fly, 1000YD Free)
Kitson McComas (Boys 8&U 50YD Breast)

Ella Opperman (Girls 13-14 200YD Free)

Ace Orosco (Boys 15 and Over 200YD Breast)

Other events VSA placed third or higher in were swam by Jacob Byrd, Mason Carpenter, Mason Poole, Strickland Stanton, Shelby Williams, and Titus Williams. 

VSA will be traveling to Biloxi for the MSI Short Course State Championships February 13-16.
