WC took down Callaway on Friday night

Vicksburg, Miss.-Warren Central High School boys’ basketball team finished third in the district after defeating Callaway 60-43 on Friday night. The win solidified the Vikings’ playoff appearance next weekend.

Jaylon Winters led the way with 17 points while Roosevelt Harris Jr. contributed 14 points and nine assists. Davon O’Neal also scored in double digits as he put up 11 points and Micah Moore added seven points and grabbed six rebounds. Larry Reynolds Jr. scored five points while Nash Morgan had nine rebounds and two points and Robert Williams hit a free throw. 

The Vikings will hit the road next Saturday for the first round of the state tournament.
