WC, VHS and St. Al all picked up baseball wins over the weekend

Vicksburg, Miss.-Warren Central, Vicksburg High School, and St. Aloysius all picked up baseball wins over the weekend. The Vikings and Gators earned Saturday victories while the Flashes beat Tallulah Academy on Friday.

WC:

The Vikings shutout Brandon 5-0 where Beau Bradley pitched most of the game and struck out three batters. 

Trace Hood went 2 for 4 at the plate with one RBI while Tristan Jamison hit a double and two RBIs. Lester Martin and Caden Cole each had one hit in the win.

Ryan Steed pitched one inning and struck out one batter. The Vikings will travel to play Biloxi on Thursday.

VHS:

The Gators crushed Greenville 18-8 on Saturday where Mincer Minor IV hit a double and went 3 for 4 at the plate with four RBIs.

Nick Carson went 3 for 4 as well while Allan Allen( 2 RBIs), Mickell Jones( 1 double and 1 RBI), and Kaleb Doss all finished with two hits. Ashton Harris hit a triple and two RBIs and Kolten Thomas also hit an RBI.

Jones threw five strikeouts and Doss struck out two batters.

St. Al:

The Flashes defeated took down Tallulah Academy 9-1 last night. Freshman Evan Mallard struck out eight batters and Max Hargrave struck out one.

Carson Smith(2 RBIs) and Pierson Smith both hit a double and finished with two hits each. Sadler Lambiotte went 2 for 4 at the plate while Keller Bradley, Clark Hobson(1 RBI), and Walt Andrews all had one hit each.

The Flashes will travel to play Adams County Christian School on Tuesday.
