WCHS Freshman Football Schedule Released

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Warren Central High School‘s ninth-grade football school has been released. The WCHS freshman season will begin on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, when the Vikings travel to play Pearl.

Most of the games will begin at 6 p.m. at each team’s high school. The Vikings will have three home games this season where they will play Sumner Hill, Terry, and Vicksburg High all on Highway 27. The game against VHS will be played at 7:30 due to the junior high playing first. 

The WCHS freshman team will be led by Head Coach Matt Williams who helped the team to a winning season in 2023. As eighth graders last year, they finished with a 6-1 record where they nearly clinched a Little Six Title.
